English Actor in Paris

Showreel

English film, theatre & voice actor

resident in Paris since 1998. From the start I always imagined being a character actor. My childhood idol was that comic chameleon, Peter Sellers, but on film and TV you could see a host of others less famous, though hardly less gifted. To me that's the essence of the trade: to become somone else, and I have always worked at widening my range of vocal and physical expression. I particularly like acccents, and enjoy learning new ones. Although I have played leading rôles (Khlestakhov in 'The Government inspector' : 'Henry Higgins in 'Pygmalion') my greatest challenge was in 'Around the World in 80 Days' when I was cast as 16 different characters. I lost quite a bit of weight on that tour!
