English Actor in Paris
Theatre Showreel
I had the good fortune to go to a school which encouraged theatre : and it was there that I learned the rudiments of the trade, in the footsteps of other former pupils such as Nick Hytner and Ben Kingsley. After theatre school in London, I returned to the town where I attended university, Bristol, and began my professional career at the magnificent Theatre Royal (Bristol Old Vic) : but as a scene painter. No matter : I was in a theatre! I quickly found acting work on the side, and since I moved to Paris, I have lived by the profession of actor. I still paint, though, and do calligraphy – see the “The Man Who Stole a Leopard”. In fact I hope you’ll see all the extracts, and enjoy them. Thank you.
